A disaster strikes the Earth, and Russians Terraform An Earth-Like Planet To Preserve Humankind

A disaster strikes the Earth, rendering it uninhabitable. Two antiquated extraterrestrial spacecraft were fixed by scientists. Additionally, they discovered a planet that may be habitable (Tess).

One of the spaceships is launched to terraform that planet with alien technology capable of generating life. There are seven people on the crew. There is activity at the terraforming equipment that the crew is oblivious to, and we later observe a tentacle traveling through a tunnel. They perform the hyperspace jump, but the entire crew passes out.

There will be a planet with numerous moons nearby when they awaken. However, it appears that the star maps do not correspond to their intended location. The project manager (Egor Koreshkov as Dr. Stephen Ross) accuses the engineer (Pyotr Romanov as Peter Taylor) of being at fault and reprimands him. When they look at their flight record, it appears that they flew to the appropriate place, but because they couldn't exit hyperspace there, they ended up in real space somewhere else.

A flashback reveals that there was an odd occurrence in the control room on Earth.

The engineer escapes the airlock and is killed. They view this as a suicide since they believe he committed suicide after blaming himself for the jump. The veteran astronaut develops depression. Without first inspecting the planet from orbit, the leader decides to send their shuttle down to it.

The captain (Konstantin Samoukov as Edward Ryan), an elderly astronaut (Dmitry Frid as David Kurtz), a male crewmember (Nikita Dyuvbanov as Frank), and a female crewmember board the shuttle with the group's commander (Liza Martines Cardenas as Leona Riva). Richard Wilson, played by Viktor Potapeshkin, is the one who stays on the spacecraft. During the trip, the shuttle sustains damage, and it crashes landings on the planet.

They remove the terraforming tool from the shuttle and transport it to a nearby cave on the planet, where it will be shielded from the elements. On the shuttle where the device was kept, we can see that there is some slime.

One of the crew members discovers slime throughout the hallways of the spaceship as well.

When they go to the cave on the planet, they turn on the terraformer machine, which emits a blue glow.

They discover a tape of the engineer being attacked by a beast while inspecting the engines after the jump when they come back aboard the shuttle. After reviewing the surveillance footage, they discover that just before they jumped, a creature crept out of the terraforming equipment and into the engine.

They also notice that the terraforming device's programmed parameters have changed and it is not operating correctly. The captain orders them not to return to the cave, despite the leader's desire.

In a flashback, the leader and the veteran astronaut are shown conversing.

They discover on the planet that the terraformer is dispersing the same virus that afflicted Earth. The projected light is crimson as they return to the cave. They are being pursued by the thing, but they manage to escape and return to the shuttle. The male crew member is killed when the beast board the ship.

They intend to entice the beast outside so they may run the engine over it. The female crew member in front of the engines decides to start shooting the thing when they are almost successful. The crew member who is a woman perishes despite the beast not making it to the engine.

In a flashback, the leader is talking to his lover, Emily Novak, played by Alyona Konstantinova.

It transpires on the planet that the beast infected the veteran astronaut during the battle. The elderly astronaut is fortunate to have such a strong immune system that his blood can be utilized to treat those who are ill on Earth. The captain decides to put the leader under arrest.

When the leader calculates how the stars must have appeared 4 billion years ago, the results match the stars in their immediate surroundings. As it happens, the planet underneath them is Earth. He realized this after recognizing a piece of the device that had broken off when the creature attacked them and had been given to his girlfriend, who had thrown it away when he had recovered it on Earth. He writes something on the object and hopes his lover will read it.

We witness another flashback in which the leader is conversing with the girlfriend.

We see the girlfriend reading news headlines about the space adventure when we return to Earth.

The captain makes the decision to detonate the terraforming machine. The man who was left aboard the spaceship unlocks it so the leader can exit and confront him. As a result of realizing that the creature had infected him, the elderly astronaut begins to fire at both of them to stop the development of life that would eventually give rise to mankind. The leader exits the shuttle after starting the timer on the captain's bombs. The beast and every other crew member are likely killed in the blast.

On the planet, the leader enters the cave and upgrades the terraforming technology so that it can support life as it is known on Earth.

Back on Earth, the girl is seen locating the bracelet's inscription and swiftly typing the code into the device, which enables her to communicate with the leader who is imprisoned in the past. He tells the girl the antidote recipe.

The antidote was eventually developed by the girl, who also managed to heal the plants.
